Ohio cartoonist David Rickert and I have finished our collaboration on a comic book that helps teach persuasive writing, grades 4-9. It features a female superhero known as “The Persuader” and her sidekick “Bud,” who swoop in and give practical help to two struggling students. It comes with classroom activities and is available in digital (downloadable) form for $10.99, or as a set of 10 printed comic books for 21.95.
